India to have UnderSea Bullet train at Thane

Country’s first bullet train will be travelling undersea for 21 KM from Thane creek towards Virar. The train will be running on the Mumbai to Ahmedabad route. A 21 km undersea tunnel is supposed to be built. People traveling on this route will be having the adventure to travel through Sea.


The current Narendra Modi led BJP Government will supposingly to spend around 98,000 Cr Rupee on this dream project. The work is suppose to start approximately at the end of 2018. 

The Bullet train is will be running at 302 km/h which will cover the journey of Mumbai to Ahemdabad in 3 hours while the current train covers the distance in 8 hours.

 In December, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited India and committed to 12 billion dollars of soft loans to build the high-speed train. The interest rate is just 0.1 percent rate with repayment over 50 years and a moratorium for 15 years.
